3 Things Every Entry Should Include
A system without a foundation is virtually useless. So when you come home, you should have the infrastructure to put everything away with ease. Here are three must haves in your entryway to make your space easy to maintain.
Shoe Storage-
Have the right type and right amount of shoe storage is essential to keeping your entryway easy to maintain and easy on the eyes. I am always a fan of concealed storage, so whether its a shoe rack behind the door, a shoe cabinet, or bins for each member of your house hold, having it tucked away cuts down on the visual clutter.
2. Storage for Every Essentials-
In our house, corralling hats, gloves and sunglasses was a nightmare before we implemented drawers for each item. Now everyone knows where those things go and can be accountable for putting things away. They can also help their poor old mom sometimes too! Consider drawers (as seen above), bins or baskets and make sure there is one for each person!
3. Hooks for Easy Drop Off-
After a long day, who wants to spend the time putting their coat on a hanger? I can tell you its the last thing I want to be bothered by when I get home. Having hooks that are easy to access and available to be reached by every member of your family will help everyone get things put away. 
The most important rule, is to lean into what is actually going to work for your family. If you see something beautiful on social media, it doesn’t always mean that it will work for you and how your family operates!
